Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% donor satisfaction and world class customer service
- Monitor and manage the flow of donations in accordance with standard procedures
- Assist Manager or Assistant Manager in day to day store operations
- Assist in scheduling staff and preparing time and attendance reports
- Train, develop and supervise team members
- Ensure safety standards are maintained through training, inspections, and reports
- Complete cash register readings, cash reports, daily deposits, paid outs and WESA reports
- Keep current on product knowledge, industry trends and competitive pricing
- Support the Goodwill mission through assessments, training and community partnerships
Requirements
- 1 2 years of experience supervising people and processes simultaneously
- Effective leadership characteristics: humility, empathy, courage
- Exceptional listening skills and high emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Customer service skills
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email)
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Satisfactory criminal reference check vulnerable persons check
- Post secondary education an asset
- Health and safety experience an asset

Position Overview
- Goodwill is hiring a Community Store Shift Supervisor to assist in daily retail store operations, lead and coach team members, and ensure donor and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Ensure 100% donor satisfaction and world class customer service.
- Monitor and manage the flow of donations in accordance with standard procedures.
- Assist Manager or Assistant Manager in day to day store operations.

- Monitor team member behaviour and assist with managing performance.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained through training, inspections, and reports.
