Department - Chief Fire Officer

Qualification - Certified Aviation Fire Fighting / ARFF Course from a recognized institute (AAI FTC / Defence / ICAO-aligned institutes)

Job Description -

  • Ensure 24×7 readiness of firefighting vehicles, equipment, and manpower
  • Lead emergency response for aircraft fire, fuel spills, and rescue operations
  • Provide mandatory fire cover for all aircraft movements
  • Coordinate with ATC and Airport Director for airside safety
  • Support operations through effective RT (Radio Telephony) communication
  • Implement Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) during all contingencies
  • Conduct regular fire drills and emergency preparedness exercises
  • Maintain fire station discipline, readiness, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure full compliance with DGCA CAR and airport SOPs
