Role Overview
Waad Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher for its special educational needs department.
The role provides individualized classroom support to help students engage, participate, and integrate effectively into the learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist students with classroom participation and integration.
- Implement recommended educational, behavioral, and learning strategies.
- Support students in developing academic, social, and communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress and provide feedback to the SEN team.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and parents when required.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology, education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
