Key responsibilities
- Drive company safety policies, practices, and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
- Manage building services documentation packages covering mechanical, electrical, security, ICT, and hydraulic disciplines.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure documentation meets specifications, cost budgets, and construction programs.
- Oversee coordination and review of documentation for adequacy of design input.
- Participate in subcontractor selection.
- Monitor the progress and quality of services installation and commissioning and participate in final handover.
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant engineering qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic services, together with solid industry experience.
- Experience working on large-scale projects and managing complex mechanical, electrical, communication, ICT, BMS, and hydraulic services packages.
- Experience managing complex integrated systems.
- Experience installing, maintaining, and testing essential and advanced building services.
- Knowledge and application of the OHS Act, Building Code of Australia, and relevant services Australian Standards.
- Leadership skills demonstrated through effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
