Install, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm panels and associated devices.
Service and maintain VESDA and other aspirating smoke detection systems.
Diagnose system issues and perform repairs or escalate when needed.
Document all work performed, including inspection reports, deficiencies, repairs, and recommendations.
Communicate effectively with customers to review findings, next steps, and repair solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the team to support scheduled PMs, emergency service calls, and project work
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid LEA (Limited Energy/Low Voltage license or equivalent, depending on state/jurisdiction)
NICET Level I–III in Fire Alarm Systems preferred (Level II+ strongly preferred)
Proven experience with VESDA or similar aspirating smoke detection technology
Strong understanding of NFPA codes (especially NFPA 72)
Ability to read and interpret fire alarm drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders/lifts as required
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 – $38.00 per hour . The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
