- Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
- Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
- Oversee and supervise sub contractors on site when required
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
- Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
- Analyze performance data determining root cause and performance trends
Requirements
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
- Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)
- Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred

About the Role
- The Service Technician plays an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB).
- This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout Ontario.
