Manage service operations in workshop or field environments that provide product or application services.
Manage department personnel and the departmental budget.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in PowerGen and diesel engine service, preferably in Oil and Gas, Marine, Mining, or a similar industry.
- Experience managing technicians and supervisors.
- Understanding of service KPIs, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- KSA or Gulf market knowledge is preferred.
- Cummins product knowledge is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage service staff and supervisors and resolve complex business problems.
- Provide constructive performance feedback, develop employees, and support career growth.
- Lead continuous improvement activities aligned with customer expectations and organizational goals.
- Review service-operation KPIs and address issues and opportunities.
- Ensure work volume, service standards, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
- Build relationships with key customers and establish service-operation goals and targets.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Create and verify customer, equipment, and technical information in the service management system.
- Apply service capability, capacity, and coverage processes to support consistent service delivery.
- Hold self and others accountable for meeting commitments.
- Communicate effectively, manage conflict, and maintain customer-focused relationships.
