Role Summary
The Service Engineer – Nephrology role supports dialysis equipment and related medical equipment in an assigned territory.
The position reports to the Regional Manager – Service, Nephrology, within the Service / Nephrology department.
The role requires independent work, emergency repair response, and travel to healthcare facilities.
Service Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair dialysis machines and related medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct performance testing and quality-assurance checks.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and technical support.
Customer and Team Support
- Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and technician groups.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations with clinical-team support.
- Provide technical support and training to medical staff on equipment usage.
- Support sales and clinical teams with technician and doctor continuing medical education sessions.
