About the Role
Khatib & Alami is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Water Design to lead water supply infrastructure projects from concept to detailed design. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and authorities, and mentor junior engineers.

- Lead the design and delivery of water supply infrastructure projects, from concept through detailed design.
- Manage client, stakeholder, and authority coordination to obtain design approvals.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Transportation, and QS) for seamless project execution.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers while maintaining high standards of quality and technical reviews.
- Support Project Managers in project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and tender documentation.
- Provide design support during construction, resolve technical issues and RFIs.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Environmental
- Specialization in water supply design is preferred
- Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred
- 10 years of industry experience in Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry, preferably in water and environment/water supply engineering design
- 8+ years of experience in engineering design in a top tier regional / multinational engineering consultancy firm
- Strong experience in large and complex water supply design projects
- Exposure to global best practices and trends in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry, in particular to water supply
- Experience in the Middle East is preferred
- In depth knowledge of the water supply industry in the Middle East
- Understanding of international Engineering standards and codes
- Good communication presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills

Role Overview
- Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Engineer – Water Design.

- Ensure innovative, sustainable, and technically sound solutions meeting client and authority requirements.
