About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify potential delays
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Resident Engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S curves, and look ahead schedules
- Review contractors' work programs, recovery schedules, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines
- Monitor project performance, resource utilization, and productivity
- Support project controls, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards
- Participate in planning meetings and provide scheduling recommendations to support project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in large scale infrastructure projects
- Previous UAE consultancy experience is mandatory
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong experience in Infrastructure, Roads, Utilities, Buildings, and Civil Construction Projects
- Excellent understanding of project scheduling, progress monitoring, project controls, delay analysis, and reporting
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and EOT analysis is an added advantage

Job Overview

Requirements

- Planning Engineer: Minimum 12+ years of experience in infrastructure and building construction/supervision projects.
- Senior Planning Engineer: Minimum 15+ years of experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
- Previous UAE consultancy experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience in Infrastructure, Roads, Utilities, Buildings, and Civil Construction Projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
