The Opportunity
Unity’s Documentation team helps creators succeed by producing clear, structured, and unambiguous technical content.
The role contributes to information quality and supports documentation for Unity products and features.
This is a full-time position based in Montreal with an option for hybrid working.
What You’ll Do
- Create, review, and improve AI-assisted drafts of user guides, developer guides, API references, SDK documentation, and code samples.
- Contribute to content strategy for complex content sets.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to understand technology, audiences, and documentation needs.
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and usable.
- Advocate for users during feature development and collaborate with other writers on consistent content standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical depth and hands-on experience with software development workflows and concepts.
- Ability to turn sophisticated technical concepts into clear, user-focused documentation.
- A track record of delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced software development environment.
- Ability to lead by example and guide or coach less experienced writers.
