About the Role
Intertec Systems is seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role requires 12+ years of experience and expertise in routing/switching, firewalls, wireless, data center, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute network upgrades, implementations, and migrations with minimal business impact
- Design and maintain enterprise network architecture, topology diagrams, and technical documentation
- Manage Spine Leaf and Three Tier network architectures, including Core, Distribution, and Access layers
- Configure and support WAN connectivity, MPLS, leased lines, and high availability network solutions
- Administer Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls, including HA, VPNs, NAT, QoS, security policies, and traffic management
- Deploy and manage Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers, Cisco ISE, and 802.1X authentication
- Configure and maintain Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), SDA Fabric, Cisco ACI, and VMware NSX environments
- Manage VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Director (VCD) infrastructure
- Administer Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services
- Configure and support Cisco IPS solutions
- Design, implement, and manage F5 BIG IP LTM, GTM, and APM solutions
- Develop and support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity plans
Requirements
- Engineering Degree/Diploma (Computers / Electronics)
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP Security, PCNSC, NSC 4 etc.
- 12+ years of experience
- Strong expertise in Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP)
- Hands on experience with Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls
- Experience with Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE, DNAC, SDA, and ACI
- Knowledge of VMware NSX, vSphere, and VCD
- Experience managing Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM
- Expertise in F5 LTM, GTM, and APM technologies
- Strong understanding of network security, VPNs, load balancing, and high availability solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
