Senior Technical Support Engineer (Compression)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical relationships for major compression customers including Aramco, Qatar Gas, and ADNOC.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for compressors and ancillary systems.
• Coordinate technical experts across client sites, Product Integrity, and Core Technology teams.
• Support Sales, Bid Management, and Service teams with technical input.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, method statements, and equipment records.
• Train junior field service engineers and client personnel on maintenance and troubleshooting.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• At least 15 years of hands-on rotating equipment and field engineering experience.
• Expertise in root cause analysis methods including FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Kepner-Tregoe, and 5 Whys.
• Knowledge of compressors, dry gas seals, couplings, bearings, vibration monitoring, and performance testing.
• Instrumentation and controls validation experience from startups, overhauls, and precision measurement activities.
