Job Purpose
The Emirates Group IT team is seeking a Senior Technical Software Engineer for an agile feature team.
The role provides technical leadership while remaining hands-on in software development and problem resolution.
The position supports scalable and secure software solutions for business outcomes across the Emirates Group.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and technical assessment of Computer Vision and AI initiatives for contactless passenger experiences.
- Own the full lifecycle of scalable, secure Computer Vision and AI solutions across airport environments.
- Design GPU-accelerated pipelines for multi-camera vision, video analytics, and AI inference.
- Drive adoption of Computer Vision, AI, and NVIDIA technologies for passenger experience, efficiency, security, and automation.
- Troubleshoot model accuracy, camera configuration, video processing, GPU performance, integration, and production reliability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technology partners on airport technology integration.
- Mentor engineering teams and establish development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous-improvement practices.
- Drive Agile engineering practices, automation, design reviews, root cause analysis, and blameless incident post-mortems.
- Provide domain and technology expertise for planning and communities of practice.
- Support enterprise platform usage and corrective, adaptive, preventative, and perfective maintenance.
