About the Role
CSCEC Middle East is recruiting a Senior Technical Manager for a large-scale project in Dubai. You will monitor development and approval of shop drawings, materials, and method statements, ensuring compliance with specifications and coordination with all trades.

Responsibilities
- Monitor the development, coordination, and approval of shop drawings, materials, and method statements
- Ensure full coordination with all trades to develop proper shop drawings considering construction sequence and interfaces
- Study project specifications along with design drawings
- Monitor generation and development of shop drawings for structural, architectural, and MEP, ensuring timely submission
- Ensure compliance of shop drawings and materials to project specifications, construction sequence, and planned program
- Review design of specialist sub contractors (post tensioned, steel structure, waterproofing, etc.) and coordinate sub designers
- Update management on status of ongoing activities and liaise with client on technical, contractual, and commercial concerns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 15+ Years of relevant work experience
- Experience in monitoring shop drawings, materials, and method statements
- Ability to coordinate with all trades and ensure compliance with specifications

Position Summary
- Monitor the development, coordination, and approval of the shop drawings/ materials/ method statements, and all necessary requirements for execution the works in site, considering the project's specifications, and the cost effect.
- Ensure the full coordination with all trades, to develop proper shop drawings, considering the construction real sequence, and all other trades interface.
Responsibilities
- Studying the project's specifications, along with the design drawing.
- Monitoring the generation & development of shop drawings for structural, architectural, and MEP, and ensure the submission on the planned time.
- Ensure the compliance of the shop drawings and materials to the project's specifications, the construction sequence on site, and to the planned time program.
- Reviewing the design of specialist sub contractors (post tensioned structural elements, steel structure, waterproofing, curtail wall, landscaping, architectural different types of finishes, etc.). Coordinating and guiding the sub designers to meet the project's specific requirement.
- Updating the management about the status of the ongoing activities. Liaising with client, and considers his concerns technically, contractually, and commercially.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 15+ Years of relevant work experience.
