Overview
- Define and maintain design standards, templates, and reference architectures for WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Data Center, Security, WLAN, and Voice solutions.
- Produce, validate, and approve HLDs, LLDs, and BOQs before submission or implementation.
- Ensure technical alignment with vendor best practices (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Ribbon, etc.).
- Conduct design peer reviews and risk assessments for new customer or internal infrastructure deployments.
- Act as final escalation point for design-related issues during project execution.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery Managers to ensure technical feasibility and operational sustainability.
- Drive standardization of design processes across multi-domain teams (Network, Security, Voice, Data Center, Passive Infra).
- Lead technology evaluation and roadmap discussions with OEMs for emerging technologies.
- Support bid responses and RFP reviews ensuring solution alignment with organizational standards.
- Develop documentation frameworks for network blueprints, topology diagrams, and architecture validation checklists.
- Liaise with operations and service assurance teams to ensure designs are supportable and fault-tolerant.
