About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate income tax computations and manage VAT and Withholding Tax compliance for Qatar UPE entity
- Oversee and review tax compliance submissions across other group jurisdictions
- Assist with preparation of current and deferred tax calculations and tax provisions, including Pillar Two disclosures under IFRS
- Perform detailed WHT analysis on cross border payments, interpret double tax treaties, and support transfer pricing compliance
- Support tax function in transaction related tax analysis, M&A due diligence, and review of Transaction Agreements
- Actively support ongoing tax technology and system implementations (including Oracle TRCS and EPM platforms)
- Implement strong tax controls, manage sectional budget preparation, and coordinate documentation for tax authority audits
- Coordinate with subsidiary teams and contribute to group level tax reporting, CbCR, and Pillar Two compliance monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Taxation, or Business from a reputable university
- Advanced knowledge of international tax regulations, IFRS accounting (IAS 12), and OECD BEPS initiatives including Pillar Two
- Familiarity with Qatar's Income Tax Law and Executive Regulations is an advantage
- Hands on experience with tax provisioning and reporting tools such as Oracle TRCS or equivalent is a strong advantage
- English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic is a plus

Role Overview

- Oversee tax compliance submissions across other group jurisdictions.
- Assist with current and deferred tax calculations and provisions under IFRS (IAS 12).
- Perform WHT analysis, interpret double tax treaties, support transfer pricing compliance.
- Support transaction related tax analysis, M&A due diligence, review Transaction Agreements.
- Support tax technology implementations (Oracle TRCS, EPM).
- Implement tax controls, manage budget preparation, coordinate for tax audits.
- Coordinate with subsidiary teams, contribute to group tax reporting, CbCR, Pillar Two.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Taxation, or Business.
- Advanced knowledge of international tax regulations, IFRS (IAS 12), OECD BEPS, Pillar Two.
- Familiarity with Qatar's Income Tax Law and double tax treaties is an advantage.
- Expertise in tax compliance, corporate financial accounting, deferred tax computations.
- Hands on experience with Oracle TRCS or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- English proficiency mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in GCC area and/or multinational corporate structures.
