About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware infrastructure including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VMware Cloud solutions
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of VMware environments
- Manage virtual machine lifecycle, resource allocation, capacity planning, and performance optimization
- Implement and maintain High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and disaster recovery solutions
- Administer Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services
- Manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam
- Support storage infrastructure including SAN, NAS, and hyper converged environments
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across virtualization, servers, storage, and networking layers
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using enterprise monitoring tools
- Participate in infrastructure design, technology refresh projects, and cloud migration initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in infrastructure and virtualization administration
- Strong hands on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, vSAN
- Strong Windows Server administration experience (2016/2019/2022)
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PKI
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam
- Knowledge of storage technologies (Dell EMC, NetApp, etc.)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, TCP/IP, routing, and load balancing
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or hybrid cloud environments is preferred
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell

Job Summary

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VMware solutions, Windows Server administration, storage, backup, and data center technologies.
