Senior Systems Administrator

As our Senior Systems Administrator (Cyber), you’ll provide senior technical leadership across identity and access management, endpoint protection, cloud-hosted and SaaS systems, and enterprise platform security. Based in Melbourne, this full-time role will strengthen cyber controls, lead complex operational uplift, and partner with Technology and Cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, resilient services for our corporate teams. You’ll work with a high level of autonomy, guide administration standards, mentor others, and drive continuous improvement across cyber systems, governance, and operational reliability.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead the technical ownership and continuous improvement of identity and access management and cyber systems platforms.

Diagnose and resolve complex issues across endpoint protection, AWS-hosted systems, access management services, API integrations, automation workflows, and authentication flows.

Implement and continuously improve security controls that prevent, detect, and mitigate cyber risks.

Assess emerging threats and translate them into practical platform hardening, remediation, audit readiness, and incident response actions.

Lead patch management, version control, and technical uplift initiatives while balancing risk, delivery priorities, stakeholder needs, and operational sustainability.

You’re an experienced, security-focused systems administrator who combines advanced technical judgement with a practical, customer-first mindset. A methodical problem solver, you’re comfortable navigating complex enterprise environments, influencing stakeholders, and taking ownership of critical issues. You communicate clearly, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and finding smarter ways to improve technology, controls, and ways of working.

What You Will Bring

Solid experience across systems administration, identity platforms, cyber systems, security operations, or enterprise platform administration.

Strong knowledge of identity and access management, privileged access management, access governance, and security control design.

Hands-on experience with relevant enterprise technologies, which may include SailPoint or Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD, Delinea or Secret Server, CrowdStrike, ThreatLocker, Netskope, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.

Expertise working in large public Cloud Environments (AWS or Azure).

Advanced scripting, automation, API, and data-query capability, including experience with PowerShell and workflow automation platforms.
