Software Engineer - 8-month secondment

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality customer experiences by building, enhancing and supporting scalable digital products. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll independently deliver medium-complexity features end-to-end, contribute to solution design discussions, and help shape technical outcomes through clean, maintainable code. You'll work across both frontend and backend technologies, partnering closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA and fellow engineers to deliver impactful solutions.

Based in Melbourne, this is an opportunity to combine strong engineering fundamentals with modern AI-enabled development practices in a fast-paced technology environment. This is an 8-month secondment opportunity.

Responsibilities Include:

Design, develop and deliver full stack features using modern frontend and backend technologies, ensuring quality, scalability and reliability.

Contribute to solution design discussions, code reviews and engineering best practices, balancing technical trade-offs with business outcomes.

Build and maintain robust services, APIs and user interfaces while proactively identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.

Develop operational ownership of your systems by monitoring performance, responding to incidents and improving reliability through automation and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the wider engineering community through knowledge sharing, reviews and working groups.
