Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced quality professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence suppliers and stakeholders effectively.

Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Extensive experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment, ideally within the medical device sector.

Strong background in Supplier Quality Engineering, supplier development, and supplier qualification activities.

Experience leading supplier audits, complex quality investigations, and supplier improvement programmes.

Sound knowledge of ISO 13485 and medical device quality management system requirements.

Strong practical understanding of:

Root cause investigation methodologies

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Risk management principles

Quality engineering tools and techniques

Ability to independently lead supplier quality activities and make sound quality decisions.

Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support less experienced engineers.

A competitive salary from £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and a discretionary annual bonus of 7.5%
