Role Overview
AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its multidisciplinary Water Team.
The role supports water and wastewater infrastructure treatment projects for UK water companies, contractors, and international clients.
The position offers a flexible hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Design and review structural elements, including water-retaining structures, from concept through construction.
- Collaborate with clients and AECOM counterparts on technical solutions.
- Produce and review calculations, drawings, and technical reports to relevant standards.
- Deliver work to agreed budget, programme, and quality requirements.
- Support project budget and programme preparation.
- Explore innovative methods and technical approaches.
- Delegate tasks, oversee work, and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Structural analysis and design experience involving reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
- Experience using BIM and 3D design tools in a digital delivery environment.
- Membership of ICE or IStructE, or working towards membership of a relevant professional institution.
