Role overview
WSP is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engineer for its Transport and Infrastructure team in Dubai.
The role manages stakeholder relationships across major infrastructure design and construction projects.
The position interfaces with project teams, clients, authorities, and the wider community to support coordination, approvals, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement across complex transport and infrastructure design and construction projects.
- Develop stakeholder management plans and project-aligned communication strategies.
- Coordinate with authorities, utility providers, developers, and community representatives.
- Maintain stakeholder registers tracking issues, commitments, and resolutions.
- Identify stakeholder constraints with design and engineering teams and develop mitigation measures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Review authority standards, guidelines, and procedures relevant to project delivery.
- Prepare technical input for reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Follow project management systems, quality standards, and health and safety policies.
- Mentor junior team members in stakeholder coordination and communication.
