Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end production support for Splunk, SOAR, VPN, and related cybersecurity platforms.
- Monitor security platforms, dashboards, and alerts to detect issues proactively.
- Manage Incident, Problem, and Change processes in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Administer Splunk use cases, correlation rules, log ingestion pipelines, and performance optimization.
- Operate SOAR playbooks, workflows, and automation scripts to improve incident response.
- Support VPN access, site-to-site connectivity, authentication, and encryption mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with SAMA, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO requirements.
- Execute disaster recovery and business continuity testing and failover validation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on resolution, patching, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Maintain operational documentation, configurations, runbooks, SOPs, and playbooks.
- Track cybersecurity platform KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics and produce reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of cybersecurity production support experience in banking or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise or ES, SOAR platforms, and VPN solutions.
- Strong understanding of SIEM, log management, threat detection, and incident response workflows.
- Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Exposure to SAMA, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO frameworks.
- Experience working with cybersecurity tool vendors and managed service providers.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery, business continuity, and audit requirements.
- Basic Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting knowledge is preferred.
