The opportunity
The Senior Solution Architect oversees and evolves key technologies and applications through technical planning and strategy focused on emerging technology.
The role establishes architecture patterns and standards for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that deliver business solutions.
The position reports to the Director, Platform Enablement, within Platform Engineering and works directly with Technology teams.
What you will do
- Implement new technologies and oversee adoption of patterns, practices, and standards.
- Develop architectures for highly complex applications, including technology selection, frameworks, tools, and third-party integrations.
- Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of custom technical solutions.
- Work with business technology partners to understand requirements and communicate technical strategies.
- Assure solution quality through design reviews, code reviews, knowledge sharing, metrics, and automation.
- Make system design and integration decisions and communicate them to implementation teams.
- Maintain awareness of technology trends and recommend new technology adoption.
- Maintain and improve application architecture, performance, and reliability across diverse technical platforms.
