The opportunity
The Managing Director will work with investment professionals to make and manage direct investments in the technology sector.
The role focuses on application software, infrastructure software, digital and IT services, and other technology-enabled categories.
The individual may collaborate with colleagues in London, Singapore, and Mumbai on international investment opportunities.
Investment responsibilities
- Lead deal teams evaluating new technology investments.
- Conduct industry and company due diligence and determine investment attractiveness.
- Build financial models, arrange debt financing, negotiate legal documents, and prepare investment recommendations.
- Create value creation plans with operating teams and lead investors.
- Remain involved after closing to help implement value-enhancing initiatives.
- Serve on boards or board subcommittees when appropriate.
- Originate investments through target identification, research, conferences, networking, and industry relationships.
- Lead subsector research and collaborate across global sector and investment teams.
