Opportunity Overview
The Lead Quality Engineer provides hands-on technical testing expertise and delivers a team-based quality strategy within Product Engineering.
The role supports investment technology platforms and combines functional testing, performance testing, manual testing, and test automation.
Core Responsibilities
- Test integrations across investment lifecycle platforms including Charles River Development, SimCorp Dimension, and FIS Quantum.
- Perform functional testing of features, system components, custom code, and applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools.
- Drive consistent testing practices, tool usage, automation, AI usage, release quality, and system reliability.
- Mentor offshore QA team members on testing practices, automation, AI, troubleshooting, and delivery support.
- Perform scripting, debugging, performance testing, load testing, and troubleshooting using logs and system feeds.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and partner with business and technology stakeholders.
- Analyze results, generate reports, communicate quality status, and provide actionable feedback.
- Lead testing requirements, estimates, QA plans, and test strategy alignment with delivery goals.
