Senior Software Engineering Manager

This role is a critical leadership position within the Developer Experience organization, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of core developer platforms.

The leader will own day‑to‑day platform support, production readiness, and continuous improvement for AI‑powered coding and developer productivity platforms.

Success in this role directly impacts developer trust, productivity, and adoption of DevEx platforms across the enterprise.

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, with strong communication skills and a proven ability to lead globally distributed teams

• 7+ years of experience working in an Agile, product‑centric delivery model, partnering closely with product managers, platform teams, and engineering stakeholders

• 7+ years of hands‑on technical experience building and supporting enterprise‑scale applications and platforms

• Deep expertise in agentic coding capabilities and AI‑assisted development concepts, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude (Code), OpenAI Codex/GPT, Cognition, Factory, MCP, or similar platforms

• Includes platform administration, operational ownership, and production support of these capabilities

• Experience managing incidents, availability, reliability, and adoption for developer tooling platforms Strong experience with observability and production support tools, with particular depth in Datadog (including monitoring, alerting, and incident response)
