About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
The role focuses on designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise-scale data integration solutions.
The work enables data movement across on-premises and cloud platforms for analytics, reporting, regulatory, and business-critical applications.
Data Integration Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica IDMC/IICS.
- Lead migrations from PowerCenter and SSIS to IDMC and Python-based processing frameworks.
- Develop solutions for SQL Server, Oracle, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data warehouses.
- Build Python utilities for ingestion, validation, reconciliation, logging, monitoring, and orchestration.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and data quality work.
- Maintain integrations across relational databases, flat files, APIs, cloud storage, and SaaS platforms.
Delivery and Operations
- Implement error handling, audit logging, restartability, and performance tuning in ETL workflows.
- Support production deployments, incident management, root cause analysis, and performance improvements.
