• The Senior Software Engineer is a fully participating member of an agile feature team who works independently on software development and problem resolution. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions/products in Mainframe technologies such as HLASM, ALCS, REXX, JES, z/OS integration, & Integrating homegrown JAVA applications into the mainframe, of software solutions/products that support the Emirates Group Business.

In this role, you will

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering with 3 + years of Experience in Information Technology.
• Certification in Salesforce/Maximo/Full Stack Developer/UI Experts/ERP/MainFrame.
• Software Engineering experience, preferably in agile ways of working.
• Knowledge/Skills:
• Design & Develop software in an enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of Testing concepts such as unit testing, functional testing, and test automation.
• Resolving a variety of issues using technical expertise. Skilled in System Design Tools.
• Designing, coding, and maintaining medium to large applications/Modules.
• Strong Agile Software Development Skills. Strong Analytical Systems and Technical Design skills.
• Experience in working with a range of technologies in the m ainframe, such as HLASM, ALCS, REXX, JES, and z/OS.
