What You'll Be Doing

• Build software components that aggregate, correlate, and present data from more than 30 global distribution sites.
• Develop applications and data-processing logic to identify performance issues and service degradation across distributed systems.
• Contribute to telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Deliver synthetic monitoring for Real-Time service performance from locations around the world.
• Develop APIs, automation, and configuration for observability services.
• Use Git, CI/CD, and configuration-as-code to deploy software and observability assets.
• Improve application instrumentation across development, test, PPE, and production environments.
• Work with experienced engineers and contribute improvements to the evolving observability platform.

Essential Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering experience from employment, a graduate role, or open-source contribution.
• Ability to write and explain software in Go, modern C++, or Rust.
• Understanding of core software engineering concepts and reliable, maintainable application development.
• Familiarity with APIs, Git, and modern software development practices.
• Interest in market data, observability, distributed systems, telemetry, data pipelines, real-time systems, performance engineering, or cloud-native technology.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability in a complex engineering or academic domain.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and collaborate across engineering teams.

Desirable Qualifications

• Exposure to financial markets, market data, real-time or latency-sensitive systems, metrics, logging, distributed tracing, or observability platforms.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, containers, cloud platforms, data processing, event streaming, CI/CD, GitOps, synthetic monitoring, or automated testing.
