Senior Software Engineer (Python and GenAI)

About This Role

In This Role, You Will

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
• Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document technology projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments.
• Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Resolve technical issues and lead a team supporting existing or potential client needs while following policies and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
• Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong development experience in Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on understanding and experience with AI and Generative AI.
• Exposure to APIs, API gateways, and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as uDeploy, Harness, Jenkins, GitHub, or JIRA.
• Understanding of data modeling, database design, analytics, data warehousing, data quality, and data governance.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, investigative, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and job scheduling.
• Knowledge of automated testing is a plus.
