Senior Software Engineer (Node.js)

BOLD Platform services team design, creates, manage and maintains the highly scalable and distributed services for the wider use of web and mobile product applications/portals/websites. The current list of services is based on Microservices architecture whose domain ranges from visitor tracking, User profiles, authentication, content and payments.

Platform team uses state of the art modern technologies like .Net framework, Python, Java, SQL Server, My SQL, Graph DB, SOLR, and a lot of other tools & technologies serving millions of users with hundreds of million transactions everyday through a scalable and fault tolerant architecture.

End-to-End Development: Design, architect, and ship robust software from problem definition through to deployment.

Problem Solving: Tackle hard, ambiguous problems and break them down into clear, shippable steps.

Product Partnership: Collaborate with Product Owners to shape and prioritize the backlog, ensuring business goals are successfully turned into the right technical solutions.

AI Integration: Leverage AI coding tools in your daily workflow and help pioneer AI/LLM-powered features within our product.

Quality Assurance: Take ownership of code quality and systematically tackle technical debt through tests, observability, refactors, code reviews, and deployments

You are a strong engineer who can learn and do anything, driving work to completion with real results shipped across new languages and domains. You are a collaborative and self-driven communicator who takes initiative, demonstrates end-to-end ownership, reasons clearly about trade-offs, and thrives in ambiguity.

Technical Experience: You have 5+ years of experience building production software, with an emphasis on depth and impact. You possess strong experience with TypeScript and theNode.js ecosystem, as well as deep frontend experience using React and Next.js. You also bring solid backend architecture and scalability skills, including strong SQL/PostgreSQL experience working with large datasets
