Role Overview
Join SimCorp’s Product Division as a senior full-stack software engineer in a cross-functional, cross-located agile team.
The team delivers functionality for SimCorp Dimension, an investment management system based on financial modelling.
The role covers all stages of development, including user stories, design, development, testing, code reviews, automated tests, and support.
Responsibilities
- Develop core functionality supporting business modules.
- Build new UI and backend solutions for a B2B fintech product.
- Apply Angular best practices and maintain the existing codebase.
- Review product code and formulate test scenarios.
- Work with product management to refine new features.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD integrations.
- Identify technical debt and apply creative solutions to complex problems.
Technical Skills
- Excellent Angular skills and experience with dynamic, responsive web applications.
- Azure cloud services and deployment experience.
- C# and .NET experience with object-oriented design and programming.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Understanding of service-oriented architectures and complex backend systems.
- Functional programming experience with OCaml, Standard ML, F#, Scala, or Haskell is a plus.
Candidate Profile
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science or a similar field.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.
- Motivation to work in the financial domain and willingness to learn new technical skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup with virtual and physical work environments.
