Core Responsibilities

• Support and enhance mission-critical environments for new and existing cloud-native products and services.
• Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and performance with product development teams.
• Manage infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operational issues.
• Drive capacity planning and build automation to improve reliability and reduce manual toil.
• Define service-level objectives and error budgets with engineering teams.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management, disaster recovery, configuration management, and platform readiness.
• Provide rotational evening-shift and weekend or on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders and share knowledge across product areas.

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a master's degree considered a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, identity providers, authentication protocols, observability, distributed tracing, reliability platforms, and synthetic monitoring.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel, KQL, threat hunting, vulnerability remediation, and compliance improvement.
• Understanding of networking, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, PowerShell, Bash, Kusto, SQL, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in ITIL and incident, change, and problem management.
• Experience managing onboarding projects and live production operations.
• SimCorp Dimension and Salesforce familiarity is considered a plus.

Workplace and Schedule

• SimCorp follows a hybrid work policy requiring two days per week in the office, with remote work available on other days.
• The role includes regular and evening rotational shifts and weekend or on-call support as needed.

Compensation

• For Toronto, the annual base salary range is CAD 100,000 to CAD 140,600.
• Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare, leave, and retirement plans.
