Senior software engineering role focused on backend development and robust, scalable systems.
The engineer will help scale a fintech startup through innovative greenfield projects.
The role includes contributing to architectural decisions and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience and qualifications
- At least five years of experience in backend development is required.
- Strong C# .NET experience is required; Java experience may also be considered.
- Experience testing software and using version control is required.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases is required.
- Significant AWS experience is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test backend applications.
- Analyse and maintain existing software.
- Design highly scalable, testable code.
- Identify and resolve programming bugs.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine platform features.
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
