Role overview

Your impact at Brevo

• Own product initiatives from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through building, launching, and iterating.
• Build and evolve Go backend services and React interfaces for scalable products.
• Drive technical and product decisions, identify bottlenecks, simplify complexity, and solve problems before they become blockers.
• Raise engineering quality through design, code reviews, pragmatic decisions, and technical-debt reduction.
• Mentor engineers and share context to improve technical and product decisions.
• Partner with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Engineering on ambiguous customer and business problems.
• Use and explore AI capabilities to improve developer productivity, product experiences, and customer outcomes.

Who you are

• Have 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering high-impact, production-grade applications at scale.
• Have strong hands-on Go proficiency and deep expertise in microservices, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Have experience with agentic AI tools, AI coding agents, autonomous developer assistants, and LLM toolchains.
• Have strong frontend development experience with React.js and JavaScript.
• Have hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Understand algorithms, full-stack system design patterns, and debugging complex production environments using tools such as Datadog, Kibana, or New Relic.
• Demonstrate autonomy, strong problem-solving, proactive ownership, and a drive to improve engineering excellence.
