Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Application Development

Key qualifications include experience with:

Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong experience working on large scale distributed systems.

Proficiency in Core Java and solid understanding of JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS

Solid understanding of effective Agentic AI development patterns, particularly how to maximize the benefits of AI adoption while managing costs

Technical design and leadership of features from inception to release

Mentoring less experienced engineers

Maintaining and promoting a healthy codebase and ensuring high quality of products.

Object-Oriented Design using SOLID and Hexagonal design principles

Understanding of relational database persistence (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)

Familiarity with Agile development practices

Experience designing REST or gRPC based APIs

Familiarity with Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Unit/Integration Testing, etc

Experience building secure software and knowledge of security practices

Experience working with Open-Source frameworks (e.g. Spring, Jersey, Drools, others)

Cloud Services (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure)

Experience with a market leading client-side framework (e.g. React, Angular) is plus.

NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, CouchDB) is a plus

Insurance or financial services industry experience is a plus

A typical candidate has a Computer Science degree or equivalent
