Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Develop efficient, scalable, secure, testable, and high-quality client code.
• Participate in planning, estimation, requirements gathering, and feature presentations.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to solve user problems and deliver client success.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and governance activities.
• Mentor engineers through Communities of Practice and project teams.
• Drive project delivery from conceptualization through deployment.
• Develop identity management, profile synchronization, event state-machine, mobile persistence, encryption, integration, and automated testing capabilities.

Minimum qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience or expertise.
• Expertise in Node.js, React, React Native, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing microservices and setting up local environments.
• Experience building high-volume, highly available enterprise applications.
• Experience with exception handling, data structures, multithreading, memory management, and application tuning.
• Strong Node.js microservices development with TypeScript, Express, TypeORM, and class-validator.
• Excellent exposure to unit testing with Jest.
• Knowledge of design patterns, Agile methods, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and OWASP.
• High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
• Proficiency in English and experience mentoring engineers.

Additional experience desired

• Object-relational mappers and architectural or design patterns.
• Cloud experience and containers using Docker or Kubernetes.
• For mobile work, native iOS or Android development, local databases, and offline synchronization patterns.
• For backend work, REST/BFF API design, data aggregation, and multi-tenant schema isolation.
• AWS resources, including S3, parameter stores, and serverless compute.
• SQL and relational database design with tenant isolation and row-level access policies.
