Role Overview
Work in Affirm's Marketplace and App Experience domain across iOS, Android, and web consumer experiences.
Shape frontend technical strategy and collaborate with mobile, web, and product experience teams.
Use React and TypeScript to build product features and modernize web implementation, design systems, and architecture.
What You'll Do
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Identify project, process, technology, and business issues and lead solutions.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support artifact availability and on-call efforts.
- Improve code review and design standards and advocate for quality through writing and technical talks.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leadership by example.
What We Look For
- At least 4 years developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience working across multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with demonstrated leadership.
