About the Role
Build engineering foundations for developing, evaluating, and deploying AI systems at government scale.
Create platforms, tooling, and workflows that improve developer experience while meeting security, reliability, and governance expectations.
Work hands-on with AI, platform, and application teams to shorten the path from idea to deployment.
What You Will Do
- Build developer platforms and tooling for AI engineering teams.
- Create reproducible development environments across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Improve CI/CD, build caching, merge queues, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Develop infrastructure for LLM, agent, and AI evaluation workflows.
- Improve parity between local, CI, and production environments.
- Automate developer provisioning, onboarding, and environment configuration.
- Build observability for builds, tests, evaluations, and deployments.
- Automate engineering bottlenecks and support fast experimentation.
- Meet government requirements for security, data sovereignty, and reliability.
Candidate Profile
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience writing and reviewing production code.
