The Role

Build Agentic AI Systems

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems for complex real-world problems.
• Engineer agentic workflows combining LLMs, tools, APIs, enterprise data, and existing systems.
• Build systems incorporating RAG, tool and function calling, structured outputs, memory, reasoning, and orchestration.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and observability for reliable, production-ready AI systems.
• Move rapidly from prototype to production and continuously improve systems based on real-world usage.

Rewire Government Workflows

• Embed with government entities and domain experts to understand current services and operational processes.
• Map workflows, decision points, bottlenecks, hand-offs, and dependencies.
• Identify where AI enables a fundamentally different operating model rather than incremental automation.
• Re-engineer workflows around AI agents, human judgment, and automation.
• Turn manual and fragmented processes into intelligent, adaptive, and increasingly autonomous systems.

Product Engineering

• Translate ambiguous stakeholder problems into clear product and technical requirements.
• Work directly with users rather than relying solely on predefined specifications.
• Prototype quickly, gather user feedback, and iterate on products.
• Balance user experience, technical feasibility, security, and impact in product decisions.
• Own solutions from problem discovery through deployment, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, ideally with significant Python and modern backend or application development experience.
• Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs and generative AI.
• Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG systems, or LLM-powered applications.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP, tool calling, and structured generation is preferred.
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Ability to build production-quality software rather than only notebooks, demos, or proofs of concept.
• Strong product intuition, communication skills, and confidence working with senior stakeholders and domain experts.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments where the problem may be clearer than the solution.

Workplace

• The role is based in Abu Dhabi.
• The position is on-site with no remote or hybrid arrangement.
