Role Overview
The Trust Infrastructure team improves the security posture of Affirm infrastructure and services.
The team embeds security into provisioning and deployment, improves developer experience through automation, and builds guardrails for safe delivery.
Owned artifacts include secrets management, authentication and authorization, cryptography, certificate workloads, and other security components in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.

Role overview
The Trust Infrastructure team improves the security posture of Affirm infrastructure and services.
The team embeds security into provisioning and deployment, improves developer experience through automation, and builds guardrails for safe delivery.
Owned artifacts include secrets management, authentication and authorization, cryptography, certificate workloads, and other security components in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Own quarterly team goals and lead engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Identify and resolve project, process, technology, and business issues.
- Monitor service metrics, support availability, and participate in escalation and on-call efforts.
- Improve code review and technical design standards and promote them through writing and technical talks.
- Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent on the team.
- Build and operate security infrastructure components across provisioning, deployment, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
