You’ll have
6+ years’ in a hands-on Software Engineering role
Extensive experience in designing and building backend APIs
experience across Kotlin (or Java), Spring Boot, AWS, Git, CI/CD, observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk
A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design
Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing
Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers
Experience working with technical and non-technical partners, with the capability to influence
A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care
Confidence with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
Experience with server-driven architectures will be well regarded
