As a Senior Software Engineer (Front-end) you’ll be responsible for guiding and leading the architecture, delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit.

A hands-on, highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code to deliver high quality, well-designed software.

You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including but not limited to; achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations and safely managing security and data privacy concerns..

You’ll have:

• 6+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role
• Experience building high‐traffic customer facing web applications
• Strong experience with front end technologies (i.e JavaScript, React JS, SSR, Micro Front Ends, HTML, CSS, CSS Modules, etc)
• Experience with leveraging design systems and sharing reusable components across repositories
• Knowledge and experience of cloud platforms such as AWS - EC2, S3, Lambda, etc preferred
• A real passion for UX, browser performance and accessibility
• Containerisation technology concepts, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and automated testing practices
• Experience using observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, or similar) to support production systems
• A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
• An understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design
• Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing
• A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care
• Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Edge Delivery Services desirable
• Experience with consuming GraphQL data desirable
• Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers
