Senior Software Engineer

Significant professional experience building and operating production backend systems, with deep working knowledge of Go and Python.

Mastery of your primary languages and frameworks, and a strong grasp of how a large codebase and its services fit together rather than just the piece in front of you.

A track record of owning systems at scale, including the operational side: monitoring, on-call, incident response, and post-mortems.

Experience designing distributed systems and APIs, with sound judgment about data modeling, failure modes, and performance tradeoffs.

Comfort working across a variety of development approaches and patterns, and the judgment to pick the one that fits the problem.

Demonstrated experience mentoring other engineers and leading technical design discussions.

Strong collaboration instincts: you assume positive intent, offer opposing views without defensiveness, and change your mind when the context warrants it.

Experience in telecom, networking, or connectivity, including familiarity with concepts like SD-WAN, SASE, BGP, or circuit provisioning. This is a plus, not a prerequisite. We expect to teach the domain to a strong engineer.

Experience with event streaming and high volume telemetry ingestion.

Cloud infrastructure and container orchestration experience, including infrastructure as code.

Experience applying AI and machine learning to operational data such as anomaly detection, classification, or automated remediation.
