The Horizon platform supports wind and solar inspection, data collection, engineering expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and asset-management workflows.
Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer will help shape the Horizon platform and the company's approach to building software.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end full-stack role spanning frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, and developer tooling.
Engineers are expected to use judgment, design scalable solutions, write production code, and focus on outcomes rather than code volume.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, customers, internal users, and engineers to understand requirements and desired outcomes.
- Formulate solutions, evaluate tradeoffs, and create executable milestones and implementation plans.
- Build and ship software, including services, APIs, user experiences, workflows, and infrastructure as code.
- Improve reliability, performance, security, testing, observability, deployment workflows, and developer productivity.
