Position Overview
Autodesk's Visualization Solutions support high-performance 2D and 3D visualization experiences across its product portfolio.
The Canada team is expanding Viewer MCP into a production-grade agentic platform for natural-language model interaction and automated visualization and data tasks.
The Senior MCP/AI Developer owns agentic subsystems from design through production support and contributes to platform architecture while mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement tool composition, agent orchestration, session context retention, and RAG retrieval subsystems.
- Own subsystems end to end, including requirements clarification, design, implementation, evaluation, deployment, and production support.
- Evaluate AI behavior for quality, safety, latency, and cost, and use results to drive improvements.
- Add human review gates, traceability, reversibility, and confidence signaling to agentic workflows.
- Make trade-offs across models, prompting, orchestration, and system design.
- Contribute to platform architecture and cross-product integrations.
- Lead production root-cause analysis and improve quality through code review, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and visualization teams and mentor developing developers.
