Design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality software applications as a senior developer.
Deliver robust and scalable solutions using PHP, Laravel, and Yii2 while providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Software Development and Ownership
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using PHP, Laravel, and Yii2.
- Develop features, modules, APIs, and enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
- Improve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing applications.
- Own assigned projects from development through deployment and maintenance.
Code Quality and Security
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
- Resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and application vulnerabilities.
- Apply design patterns, software engineering principles, and secure, scalable architecture.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests where applicable.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in architecture decisions, technical discussions, estimation, and process improvement.
Maintenance and Documentation
- Investigate production issues and critical defects and monitor application performance.
- Support deployment, release, and maintenance activities.
- Create technical documentation for applications, APIs, processes, configurations, and system architecture.
- Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, and Yii2.
- Experience with relational databases, RESTful APIs, Git, debugging, performance optimization, and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with testing, deployment, CI/CD, Linux, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
