Senior Site Architect – High-End Finishes & Fit-Out

About the Role

Location and Employment

• The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Employment is full-time and onsite with daily site work.
• Immediate joining is required, and applicants must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.

Architectural and Finishing Scope

• Supervise masonry, plastering, rendering, gypsum, ceilings, stone, tiles, flooring, painting, wallcoverings, joinery, glass, mirrors, aluminium, and decorative metalwork.
• Supervise waterproofing, façades, curtain walls, windows, doors, external cladding, hardscape, planters, pergolas, canopies, boundary works, and outdoor furniture.
• Coordinate softscape, irrigation, external lighting, drainage, swimming-pool and water-feature interfaces, FF&E, sanitary fixtures, decorative lighting, curtains, and furnishings.

Site Execution and Quality

• Lead daily activities, organise work fronts, supervise teams, and verify drawings, materials, manpower, access, and site conditions.
• Review shop drawings, specifications, approvals, and samples and resolve issues with the technical office and relevant disciplines.
• Inspect materials and workmanship, apply approved method statements and inspection plans, document defects, and verify corrective work.
• Prepare inspection requests, attend consultant inspections, supervise mock-ups and model rooms, and close observations and snags.
• Follow up façade and specialist works, deliveries, storage, installation readiness, protection, progress reporting, waste reduction, and handover.

Coordination and Safety

• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, façade, external, FF&E, and specialist subcontractor works, including concealed services and interfaces.
• Monitor material usage, minimise waste and rework, record approved changes, and provide verified information for as-built and handover documents.
• Monitor occupational health and safety, brief workers on task risks, enforce PPE and housekeeping, identify hazards, and stop unsafe activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• At least 5 years of architectural site execution and finishing experience, including at least 3 years within Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on high-end finishes and interior fit-out experience on large-scale hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.
• Experience supervising subcontractors, façades, glazing, aluminium, consultant inspections, mock-ups, snagging, and handover.
• Knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, FF&E, Saudi Building Code requirements, and site safety.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel and ability to prepare site reports and technical correspondence in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with luxury hotels, model rooms, hotel operator standards, and complex interior finishes.
• Experience delivering finishing packages from substrate preparation through final handover.
• Experience with hardscape and coordination of softscape, irrigation, and external works.
• Familiarity with Revit and Navisworks and relevant quality-inspection or occupational-health-and-safety training.
